- This system separates water, oil and solids using the difference in specific gravity of the oil/water mixture.
- Inside the separator, a series of corrugated parallel plates made of F.R.P material are stacked on top of each other at a 45˚ inclination.
- When the oil/water mixture enters the separator, oil droplets will collect in the crests of the corrugation and rise out of the path of water flow, while the solids descend to the bottom of the separator along the path provided in the valleys.
- The oil float will be eliminated by an adjustable pipe oil skimmer. Once the oil and solids have been removed, the water will flow to the filter unit.
- The filter unit completely eliminates the oil contained in the treated effluent with a similar specific gravity by filling the filter with an oil absorbent.

- It can reduce oil content from 10,000 ppm (1%) to 10 ppm, or 20 ppm if the separator does not feature a filter.
- It can treat mixtures with temperature from 0. to 200. and pH levels from 3 to 12.
- The oil floating to the water surface is eliminated by a pipe oil skimmer.
- The oil absorbent in the filter unit will eliminate oil with a similar specific gravity to water due to solids after the mixture has passed the oil separator.
